Are you an experienced and motivated individual seeking a supervisory role in support services? We have an exciting opportunity available for a Support Services Supervisor at our facility in Muckamore Abbey Hospital
Position: Support Services Supervisor – Band 3
Working Hours: 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, 5 out of 7 days
Salary: £11.11 per hour
Key Responsibilities: As a Support Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of support services within our healthcare facility. Your main duties will include:
- Supervising and leading a team of support staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Managing the allocation of tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Monitoring and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas.
- Collaborating with other departments to meet the facility’s support services needs.
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Training and developing support staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Handling administrative tasks related to support services.
Key Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in support services within a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
