Job Title: Catering Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Catering Supervisor to join our team at the City Hospital and Mater Hospital locations. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of our catering services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals to patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the catering team to ensure efficient and effective meal service.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all meals are prepared and served according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
• Conduct regular staff training and development to maintain service excellence.
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to the catering service.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments to support overall patient care and service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the catering or food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Relevant catering or hospitality qualifications are desirable.
