Catering Assistant – Craigavon (Immediate Start, Temporary Ongoing)

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food service and maintaining hygiene standards. Duties include:

• Assisting with food preparation and service
• Operating dishwashers and ensuring all crockery and utensils are cleaned to a high standard
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Following health and safety and food hygiene regulations
• Working as part of a team to ensure smooth service

Available Positions

Post 1

• Hours: 25 hours per week
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Duties:
  • Dishwasher cleaning (approx. 1.5 hours daily)
  • General catering assistant duties for the remaining time
• Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (Monday–Friday)

Posts 2 & 3

• Hours: 28 hours per week
• Shift: 5 days per week on a rota basis (weekend work may be required)
• Duties:
  • General catering assistant duties
• Pay Rates:
  • Monday–Friday: £12.21 per hour
  • Saturday: £17.22 per hour
  • Sunday: £22.34 per hour

What We’re Looking For

• Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility for weekend work when requested
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
