Key Responsibilities:

To work with line management and TL colleagues to co-ordinate all work activities within their operational area of responsibility, managing workloads as directed. To support collation of necessary returns, liaise with all key stakeholders including other areas of UC i.e., Job centres, ACCLS, Partnership Managers etc. The TL is expected to provide guidance and support for each of their team, work collaboratively with colleague TL’s and raise areas of concern to their relevant EO1.
Activities include but are not limited to:

Provision of end stage consolidation on live cases and continuing this team lead role from go-live date.

Line Management of a team of Case Managers

Oversee the performance of the team against expected targets and outputs addressing shortfalls

Engage with other Teams with regards to customer service, quality, SILs etc.

Engage with colleagues to manage throughput of work, and close team working to address business needs.

Ensure accurate and timely returns for requests for information from UC Management

Complete COA monthly

Attend all meetings as required daily, weekly, monthly As this role will involve managing new entrants and inexperienced staff who will be 100% office based initially, hybrid working will not be available at the standard 20%. Candidates accepting this opportunity will be required to work 100% in the office for up to 6 months. Hybrid working ratios will be subject to review and some ad hoc working from home may be available once TL cover is established.

5 GCSEs including Maths and English plus 2 A levels or equivalent ( Proof of certs required )

12 months UC experience
- Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to use own initiative.
