Admin Assistant Omagh

  • 9 – 5  Monday to Friday
  • 37 hours a week

Key responsibilities of the role:

The Appeals Service provides administrative support to tribunals set up to hear appeals against decisions made by this Department.

The job role will include using Word, Excel and Outlook and the Appeals System ‘NIAPS’, dealing with members of the public and representatives by phone and/or email, ensuring appeals are ready to progress to hearing stage and other administrative duties.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Essential: 2 GCSEs or equivalent (Maths and English Language – Grades A-C)
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of software programs
  • Proficiency in specific administrative systems and procedures
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle queries
  • Strong time management and deadline adherence
  • Initiative-driven with flexible time management
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction
