Role : Senior Administrative Officer
Salary : £10.41 Per Hour P/W
Admin & Clerical
Duration – Temporary 3 months+
Location – Rochdale (OL16)

About our client
Our client require a competent administrator to assist with a time-limited human resources project on behalf of Strategic Housing. The hours will vary week by week although the successful candidate must be available 5 days per week January to March 2023 (dates inclusive – although the role may extend beyond this). Hours per week will vary depending on the needs of the project and will be set weekly on a rolling basis. The successful applicant must be available to attend offices based in Rochdale.
The role will require attending complex meetings for note-taking, issuing documentation, creating documentation in standard MS formats, formal note-taking and typed-document creation. The successful candidate will be fully equipped to undertake minute taking, deliver standard administrative duties as well as providing transcripts and taking instructions from project lead.
Experience

2 | Ability to assist in the development and maintenance of manual and computerised administrative and finance systems |
3 | High standards of literacy and numeracy. |
4 | Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines |

6 | Able to work in a methodical manner and prioritise work in a pressured environment to meet targets/deadlines |
7 | Understanding of the issues relating to the confidentiality of information handled by the team. |
8 | Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with staff at all levels and with representatives of external organisations- orally and in writing |

Must Have
1 | Experience of IT applications including word processing, PowerPoint, databases, spreadsheets and Outlook. |
2 | Experience of providing a range of administrative and financial support functions. |
3 | European Computer Driving License (ECDL) or equivalent. (or willingness to undertake) |
