Admin Officer (B3 Grade)
Location: Belfast
Start Date: 02 February 2026 for 3 months initially
Hourly Rate: £13.69
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary (3 months)
About the Role
We are recruiting an Admin Officer (B3 Grade) to support the effective delivery of essential customer services within the organisation. The Customer Service Unit (CSU) Adviser is the first point of contact for tenants and customers, handling enquiries via telephone, public counter, and digital channels in a professional and timely manner.
You will play a key role in logging repairs, arranging inspections, booking appointments, and ensuring efficient coordination between internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer and tenant enquiries across multiple channels
- Diagnose, prioritise, and record repairs and maintenance requests
- Arrange gas safety and health & safety inspections
- Book grounds maintenance and other service appointments
- Use IT systems to retrieve and manage customer information
- Monitor service delivery and support performance reporting
- Liaise with internal teams and external contractors
- Take ownership of customer queries and complaints through to resolution
- Support CSU management and colleagues when required
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and values
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–5 years in an administrative or customer service role
- IT Skills: Beginner level (training provided)
- Education: 5 GCSEs grade A–C including Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Access NI: Basic check required
- Other: Strong communication, attention to detail, and customer‑focused approach
