Our client, a large public sector organisation, based in Belfast is looking to recruit 2 Admin Officers to join their team.
Hourly Pay: £11.70
Location: Belfast City Center
Length of Assignment: March 2023. Subject to funding approval this date may be extended
Hours: 9-5 Monday to Friday
Job Description including Main Duties / Purpose of Job/Function of Role
- Assist in the preparation of cases for Inquest and respond to queries regarding Inquest case progression. Duties include: producing witness letters; securing dates with professional witnesses, and preparation of court files.
- Liaise with PSNI, Forensic Science NI, Health & Safety Executive regarding file progression. Act as Court Clerk at Preliminary Hearings. Duties include: opening court, reading statements, and recording relevant points.
- Provide on-going administrative support to the Liaison Officers and Legal Officers.
- Undertake general office duties, including filing, post opening, managing BF list and photocopying.
- Utilise IT systems including; data base, Microsoft Word, Account NI etc.
- Deal with a variety of telephone and written queries on a daily basis from professional witnesses, service providers and bereaved families. Process reports of deaths via telephone calls from the medical, legal and other professions on a daily basis.
