We are currently recruiting an Admin Officer for our client based in Belfast City Centre. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

 

Start date: ASAP

Rate of pay: £13.75ph

Duration: 1/25/2026 with possible extension                 

Hours of work: 37

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and prioritise files
  • Manage urgent files with short turn-around time to meet pe dates set by court
  • Chase up outstanding evidence required for PE with police/NCA
  • Bring queries from police to the directing officer
  • Liaise with court support/directing officer to agree suitable PE date
  • Provide the court with updates on progress of files
  • Prepare draft exhibits lists and advise AO of any changes that need made to PE Papers
  • Prepare PE papers, disclosure, applications, physical exhibits, Indictable summons and letters for issue to police, defence and court within time limits
  • Handle telephone queries re PE papers as necessary
  • Monitor warrant cases and issue new summons or edited papers as required
  • Check committal/counsel briefs for accuracy before issue
  • Maintain accurate records on CMS of file progress
  • Perform any other duties appropriate to grade
  • Monitor files that are ready to be collected by the PSNI and chase up those that are approaching their PE date

 

 

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

  • 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English (Proof of certs required)
  • Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
