We are currently recruiting an Admin Officer, the successful candidate will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 3months with possible extension

Hourly rate – £12.59

Hours of work: Mon to Fri 37 hours

Job duties

Job outline including main duties / Purpose of Job/Function of Role The main role of the post is the input of data onto the NICS financial accounting system, AccountNI. This involves the accurate and prompt processing of:

  • Purchase Order requisitions.
  • Planned Purchase Orders and grant payment instalments to various bodies.

Receipts for goods or services and grant payment instalments.

The duties also require the postholder to ensure that:

all requisition forms are completed accurately and approved in line with delegated financial limits before input onto AccountNI.

all relevant Divisional spreadsheets are updated accurately and promptly.

all supporting purchasing and payment documentation is saved correctly onto AccountNI of the Department’s record management system.

  • Finance section desktop procedures guidelines are reviewed and updated as necessary

Essential Criteria:

– 5 GCSE’s A-C to include Maths and English (You must be able to provide proof)
