We are currently recruiting for an admin officer based in Omagh. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.

 

Start date: ASAP

Duration: To be reviewed after 6-months

Rate of pay: £11.99

Hours of work: 9 – 5pm 37 hours a week Monday to Friday

 Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate incoming correspondence and scan to correct case on IT system.  Open, record and handle incoming post and payments in line with standard office procedures.  Prepare lodgements.

Ensure that correspondence is issuing to the correct person and that all data protection requirements are observed.

Deal with potentially challenging customer telephone calls and ensure that notes of the telephone call are recorded in the Penalty Charge Notice processing system.

Authorise the Clamping & Removal of vehicles under the relevant Road Traffic Legislation.

Prepare Customer Refunds.

Maintain statistical records of work activity/outputs and ensure that daily correspondence targets are met.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

  • five GCSE/GCE (or equivalence) passes (at A, B or C) with Maths and English.

( Proof of certs required ) We cannot pass your application without them

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an administrative role
  • Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to use own initiative.
