We are currently recruiting for AO’s based in Belfast city centre ( Castle Court ). The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

 

Start dates: 8th,10th 15th or 17th April

Duration: up to 51 weeks

Hours of work: Full time 37

The contracted hours are 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday and every 4th Saturday on a rota basis. However, at present staff are working various shift patterns between 9.00 – 5.00 Monday to Friday.

Rate of pay:  £12.36ph

 

Key Responsibilities:

Working within Department for Communities in the Northern Ireland Civil Service, as part of a Flexible Resource Team,this role will deliver services for vulnerable customers who are based in Great Britain and who are seeking assistance with Universal Credit (UC). . The role will primarily be an element oftaking initial verification action on specific social rented sector cases to enable UC customers rent to be verified following the annual rent change in April. It is likely that this work will change from the beginning of June when staff will move to another area of UC work. At this stage there is a likelihood that some inbound and/or outbound telephony will be involved in the role and full training will be provided.

• Excellent work ethic with a desire to personally develop; and
• Excellent attendance and time keeping.

These roles are full-time, office based.  Working from home may become available in the future.

 

Sickness/Absence: 

Due to the nature of the training, full attendance is important during the training period, noncompliance may lead to your assignment being ended early. Emergency leave will be considered on a case-by-case bases.

This is a long-term assignment, successful candidates will remain office based for the first 6 months of the assignment, the option to work from home may become available after 6 months and depending on performance.

 

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

  • five GCSE/GCE passes (at A, B or C) with Maths and English.

  • Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to use own initiative.
