We are currently recruiting for AO’s for our client based in Belfast City Centre. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.
Start date: 17th or 24th August
Rate of pay: £13.75ph
Duration: up to 6 months with possible extension
Hours of work: Full time 37 Hours per week
The contracted hours are 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday and every 4th Saturday on a rota basis. However, at present staff are working various shift patterns between 9.00 – 5.00 Monday to Friday.
No holidays can be accommodated in the first 12 weeks of employment due to the training for this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Working within Department for Communities in the Northern Ireland Civil Service, this role will deliver services for customers who are based in Great Britain.  At the initial stage, it is anticipated that roles will support a programme for helping customers through the current Cost of Living crisis.  Full training will be provided.  Main duties and essential skills may include, while not limited to:  

  • Effective call handling skills  

  • Good verbal and written communication skills  

  • Ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers.

  • Ability to work within and contribute to a team environment.  

  • Ability to work accurately within specific deadlines and to achieve relevant targets.  

  • Basic IT skills / computer literacy with an aptitude for learning new systems.  

  • Organised with good time management skills. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills  

  • Excellent work ethic with a desire to personally develop. 

  • Excellent attendance and time keeping 

These roles are full-time, office based.  Working from home may become available in the future. 

Essential Criteria applicants must have:
  • five GCSE/GCE passes (at A, B or C) with Maths and English.
( Proof of certs required )
  • Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to use own initiative.
