We are currently recruiting for AO’s for our client based in Derry/Londonderry (Foyle). The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.
Start date: 9th December
Rate of pay: £12.59
Duration: 51 weeks
Hours of work: Full time 37 Hours per week ( Mon to Fri )
No holidays can be accommodated in the first 12 weeks of employment due to the training for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Telephony Duties: Bereavement Service, State Pension and Pension Credit –
Telephony duties can range from 100% to 50% of an officer’s time on the telephone. This work can involve completing new benefit applications, answering general enquiries or completing details of reported deaths to the bereavement service.
Processing Benefit: Pension Centre delivers the following benefits: State Pension, Pension Credit, Bereavement Support Payment, Funeral Expense Payment, Child Funeral Fund and Widowed Parents Allowance. This work involves accessing departmental computer systems to process, pay and maintain benefit applications.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
- five GCSE/GCE passes (at A, B or C) with Maths and English.
( Proof of certs required )
- Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to use own initiative.
