Hours of Work:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Flexible working available
Rate of Pay: £12.59 per hour
Main Duties Include:
- Telephony Duties:
- Supporting the Bereavement Service, State Pension, and Pension Credit.
- Handling a variety of calls (50%–100% of the role) including:
- Completing new benefit applications
- Responding to general inquiries
- Logging reported deaths for the Bereavement Service.
- Processing Benefits:
- Assisting in the delivery of benefits such as:
- State Pension, Pension Credit, Bereavement Support Payment, Funeral Expense Payment, Child Funeral Fund, and Widowed Parents Allowance.
- Using departmental computer systems to process, pay, and maintain benefit applications.
- Assisting in the delivery of benefits such as:
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs (including Maths & English, grades A to C) or equivalent Level 2 qualification.
- Candidates must undergo an Access NI Check.
