We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Antrim as a full-time Administration Officer. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

Administrator Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour

Start Date: 1st May

Hours of Work: 

37 Hours per week

Job Duties: 

Based within the Frontline Office, reporting directly to a First Contact Team Manager, you will act as the first point of contact for claimants, and will be responsible for progressing Universal Credit Claims.Job role –

  •  Work as part of a multifunctional administrative team.
  • Be the first point of contact for claimants who have queries.
  • Gather accurate information and ensure that claimants provide the necessary documentary evidence.
  • Confirm claimants’ identity. • Ensure claimants are aware of their responsibility to report future changes.
  • Take appropriate action in reporting and logging all incidents of unacceptable customer behaviour.
  • Provide advice and guidance, explaining policies and procedures and actively eliciting information from potential claimants. At times this will involve dealing with difficult customer situations.
  • Signpost the claimant to the relevant support.

Please note full attendance will be required on a 13 days mandatory training course with no leave permitted. Training will involve travel to another area.

Essential Criteria: 

Must have 5 GCSEs including Maths & English – Certificates required

An Access NI will be required for this role
