We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Belfast as a full-time Administration Officer. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.
Our client is Northern Ireland’s Leading Public Sector Employer.
Administrator Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Start Date: 13th April

Hours of Work:
37 Hours per week
Job Duties:
- Delivery of Tuckshop Services
- To assist with all student purchases against allowed expenditure and limits where appropriate.
- Deal with any queries on purchases from residential areas.
- To carry out random checks on packed orders.
- Facilitating face-to-face shopping for residents from enhanced landings.
- To process “outside purchase” requests in accordance with agreed limits and procedures.
- Processing external supermarket orders for residents from enhanced landings including reconciliation of receipts and IPC accounts.
- To check stock deliveries from suppliers for quality and quantity as stated on the order form, delivery notes and invoices.
- To process invoices through Account Ni for prompt payment.
- To conduct a comprehensive monthly stocktake (including spot checks throughout month).
- To process end of month accounts based on purchases, sales and condemnations.
- To submit data to Finance in preparation for month end and year end reporting.
- To reconcile Government Purchasing Card (GPC) expenditure with statements.
- To maintain stock at an optimum level and ensure appropriate stock rotation is conducted as well as identifying items that can be withdrawn from stock;
- To provide contracted suppliers with orders for stock replenishment as required.
- Maintain records including return of “landing receipts” for auditing purposes.
- To respond to internal and external enquiries promptly and accurately.
- To attend relevant meetings such as Residential Forums and other operational meetings as required.
- To inform residents promptly of any price changes and changes to product offerings.
- Liaising with residents and suppliers to identify new product lines.
- Provision of cover for other administrative posts within Hydebank Wood as necessary.
- Any other duties as required
Essential Criteria:
Must have 5 GCSEs including Maths & English – Certificates required
An Access NI will be required for this role
