We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Belfast BT8 as a full-time Administration Officer.

Our client is Northern Ireland’s Leading Public Sector Employer.

Administrator Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

Hours of Work: 

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Job Duties

The AO will be part of the DVA Operations Service Management team.
The post holder will be expected to –

Manage Service Management Mailboxes

  • Monitor and triage incoming incidents across various mailboxes.
Log and Prioritise Incidents
  • Record incidents accurately and assign appropriate priority ratings, ensuring all issues are progressed through to full resolution.
Monitor and Escalate Issues
  • Track incidents, problems, changes, service requests, file transfer failures and interface errors, escalating promptly where required.
Provide Regular Updates to Line Management
  • Keep managers informed of any significant faults, recurring issues, or emerging risks.
Customer Engagement
  • Communicate with DVA customers to update them on fault reports and progress toward resolution.
Liaise with External Stakeholders
  • Work with external suppliers, ICT providers, and partners as necessary to investigate and resolve system issues.  Attend checkpoint meetings as required.
User Access Management
  • Process new user requests, amend roles, and maintain accurate approval and access control spreadsheets.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Support testing for new system releases as required.
Electronic Filing and Records Management
  • File all correspondence appropriately within the electronic document management systems
Mobile device management
  • Raise service requests for users access to mobile devices.
Additional Duties
  • Undertake any other relevant tasks required to support the service management functions.

 

  • Note full on the job training will be provided.

Essential Criteria: 

  • Must have 5 GCSEs – Maths & English – Certificates required

An Access NI will be required for this role
