We are currently recruiting an Administration Officer for our client based in Belfast and Downpatrick with the opportunity of hybrid working in the future. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

Start date: ASAP

Rate of pay: £13.75

Duration: Up to 29/03/26 with possible extension

Hours of work: 37 9-5 Monday to Friday

Successful candidate must be able to drive or willing to take public transport to Downpatrick

Location: Based in Belfast with 1 day working in Downpatrick. Once CTC security clearance comes through, successful candidate will be able to work 1 day in Belfast Chambers, 1 day in Downpatrick Courthouse and 3 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

Within the roleholder’s overarching accountability, there are two core
areas of responsibility.  These are:
1.    Office Support
Support the EO2s and court prosecutors by preparing case files for Magistrates’ courts and County Courts, ensuring the files are accurately updated with relevant documentation within the required timeframes and that all pre-court activities are undertaken.
Conduct post-court actions on files(ECF), in line with current guidance.
Liaise and correspond with key internal and external stakeholders relating to court support functions on behalf of and upon the request of the EO2, SPP/PP.
•    Ensure quality standards and timelines to support the successful administration of court support functions are met.
•    Any other duties as required appropriate to the grade.
2. Attendance at Court
•    Attendance at courts throughout the region as and when required to assist the court prosecutors.

•    The post may involve dealing with victims, witnesses and other criminal justice agencies directly at court.

Record outcomes of court appearances, along with post-court actions required on ECF.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

  • 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English (Proof of certs required)
