Job Role: Administrative Officer
We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Officer based in Ballykelly. The successful candidate will be required to start once vetting paperwork and ANI clearance are completed.
- Start Date: 08/01/2025
- Duration: 51 weeks, with the possibility of extension
- Rate of Pay: £12.59 per hour
- Hours of Work:
- Contracted hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and every 4th Saturday on a rota basis.
- Current shift pattern: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
This role is primarily telephony-based. Key duties include:
- Answering calls within agreed timescales, taking personal responsibility to maximise availability and deliver an accessible, effective service.
- Working collaboratively to promote resilience and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Building rapport with colleagues and customers.
- Contributing to a team environment.
- Working accurately within set deadlines and achieving targets.
- Utilising basic IT skills and demonstrating an aptitude for learning new systems.
- Staying organized and maintaining good time management skills.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Proof of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, at grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to work on their own initiative.
