Duration: 12 weeks (Possibility of extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: On the current shift pattern, subject to review.

Shift Pattern:

• Portal Rota Belfast: [06:00 – 14:00] [14:00 – 22:00] [22:00 – 06:00]
• Larne: [5:30 – 13:30] [13:30 – 21:30] [21:30 – 5:30]
• Warrenpoint: 2 shifts [3:30 – 11:30] [14:30 – 22:30]

Expected Hours:

• 37 hours per week (Subject to business needs; shift patterns may vary and be subject to change)

Job Description:

Are you looking for a dynamic role that offers a unique shift pattern and the opportunity to contribute to important checks at Northern Ireland Ports of Entry? We are seeking an Administrative Officer to join our team for a 12-week assignment with the possibility of extension.

This role also currently supports a SDA (Shift Disturbance Allowance). The amounts are as followed:

Monday – Friday – £14.36

Saturday – £20.31

Sunday – £26.27

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide crucial support for the administrative structure overseeing SPS checks at NI Ports of Entry. Your primary duties will include carrying out documentary checks on plant, plant products, seed potatoes, and used agricultural machinery to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Five GCSEs, including Maths and English, with a grade of C or above.
• Successful completion of a basic Access NI Check.
