Job Opportunity: Administrative Officer
Location: Omagh
Pay: £12.59 per hour (paid weekly)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (Flexible hours available)
Contract Length: 3-month rolling contract, up to 51 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duties
As part of the Parking Enforcement Processing Unit (PEPU), your role will support the objective of reducing traffic congestion and improving highway and pedestrian safety by managing illegally parked vehicles. PEPU typically administers 120,000–160,000 Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) annually.
Administrative Officer Responsibilities:
- Perform processing and administrative tasks related to PCNs.
- Handle telephone duties on a daily rota basis (may require occasional office attendance between 9am–5pm).
- Flexible working hours available, with the potential for remote work once training is completed.
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications: 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, graded A-C (or Level 2 equivalent).
- Background Check: Willingness to complete an Access NI Background Check (facilitated by TRC).
