Administrator – School Nursing & Immunisation Team

Our client within the Health & Social Care sector is currently recruiting for an Administrator to support the School Nursing Core and Immunisation Team based in Dungannon.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a busy healthcare team, providing vital clerical and administrative support to help deliver key child health and immunisation programmes across the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the School Nursing Core and Immunisation Teams.
- Assist with the delivery of the Healthy Child, Healthy Future Programme, including school-based immunisation and paediatric flu programmes.
- Prepare and distribute information packs and correspondence for schools.
- Travel to local schools to deliver and collect documentation as required.
- Contact GP surgeries and parents to obtain updates on vaccination histories.
- Produce correspondence, reports and documentation using Microsoft Office.
- Manage filing, photocopying and general administrative duties.
- Answer telephone enquiries, maintain diaries and arrange appointments and meetings.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail in line with established procedures.
- Order and monitor office supplies and stores.
- Input and extract information from computerised systems, including the Child Health system.
- Provide clerical cover across Trust locations when required.
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must possess:
- 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent/higher qualification)
OR
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a clerical or administrative role.
In addition, candidates must have:
- Experience using at least one Microsoft Office application.
- A full current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel may be required as part of the role.
Applicants whose disability prevents them from driving will be considered where they have access to suitable alternative transport approved by the Trust.
