Our client is looking for an Agriculture Lecturer to join their team!
Location – Greenmount Campus
Start Date – 02/09/2024
Duration of Contract – 2024/25 Academic Year (9 Months)
Work Pattern – Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (37 per week)
Rate of Pay – £19.55 per hour
Main Duties of Role
1. To plan and deliver to students enrolled in Level 3 Agriculture courses on a range of topics including plant and soil science, dairy production and animal health.
2. To set and markstudent assessments, providing feedback and monitoring student progress on the course.
3. To tutor student groups and individual students
4. To ensure compliance with CAFRE and Awarding body quality assurance systems
5. To attend FE teaching team meetings.
Essential Experience
The applicant must possess an Honours Degree in Agriculture or related discipline.
To deliver on these courses staff must be technically knowledgeable in the areas above.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience of delivery and assessment of student learning is also beneficial.
