Job Advertisement: Agriculture Lecturer
Start Date: 02/09/2024
Location: Greenmount, Antrim
Duration: 2024/2025 Academic Year (9 months)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, 37 Hours per week
Rate of Pay: £19.55 Per Hour
Main Duties:
1. To plan and deliver to students enrolled in Level 2 Agriculture courses on a range of topics including animal and plant physiology, machinery & crops, farm animal production,farm estate management and health & safety.
2. To set and markstudent assessments, providing feedback and monitoring student progress on the course.
3. To tutor student groups and individual students
4. To ensure compliance with CAFRE and Awarding body quality assurance systems
5. To attend FE teaching team meetings.

Essential Criteria:
The applicant must possess an Honours Degree in Agriculture or related discipline.
To deliver on these courses staff must be technically knowledgeable in the areas above.
Desired Criteria:
Previous experience of delivery and assessment of student learning is also beneficial.
