Our client, a large public sector organisation, based in Greenmount is looking to recruit an Agriculture Lecturer to join their team.
Hourly Pay: £18.33
Location: Greenmount Campus
Length of Assignment: 11 months
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Main Duties:
– To plan and deliver to students enrolled in both Level 2 and 3 Agriculture courses on a range of topics including but not limited to livestock production, Grassland management, Health and Safety and business management
– To set and mark student assessments, providing feedback and monitoring student progress on the course;
– To tutor student groups and individual students
– To ensure compliance with CAFRE and Awarding body quality assurance systems;
– To attend teaching team meetings.
Essential Criteria:
– The applicant must possess an Honours Degree in Agriculture or related discipline
Previous experience of delivery and assessment of student learning is also beneficial.
