We are currently recruiting for an Analogous to Executive Officer 1 based in Lisburn. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 31 December 2025

Rate of pay: £16.45

Hours of work: 37 hours per week 9 to 5; Monday to Friday Flexi time is available in these roles

Key Responsibilities:

This is a temporary appointment.The post holder is responsible for supporting senior management within the Water Utilities Regulation Team.
Duties will include planning of meetings across a range of stakeholders (internal & external) and provide secretariat support including high quality meeting notes and reports.
To co-ordinate and manage a range of
correspondence for the team including the preparation of initial drafts (e.g. FOIs / EIRs)
The post holder must have the ability to deliver results at pace and to manage / prioritise work against deadlines and competing priorities.
The post holder must hold a full UK driving licence.
The post holder will be expected to have good interpersonal and communications skills, as well as good analytical and problem-solving skills.
The post holder will be expected to work flexibly within the overall team and should be at ease in working with senior staff and communicating to external stakeholders on a daily basis.
The post holder will be expected to work on their own initiative and provide a positive contribution to the overall success of the team.
Any other duties that may be required by line management.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

Proof of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grade C or above or the equivalent to this and 3 A-levels.

Ability to work closely with range of senior stakeholders, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, producing high quality meeting reports and organising and maintaining records.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including assistance in drafting FOI and EIR responses.
Co-ordination of consultation responses.
The ability to work as part of a team and be capable to work on own initiative
Have a strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
Use of AI for report writing would be considered advantageous.

Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to use own initiative.
