Assistant Store Manager

Salary:

32,000 – 35,000 basic (OTE 42,000)

40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days per week)

Do you have experience of operating within a store based sales role? Are you looking for a new role within a successful business at the start of a New Year? The Recruitment Co. are currently recruiting for one of our key clients in Sunbury and this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Achieving sales targets, occupancy targets and objectives. This may involve setting sales goals,creating strategies to increase revenue, and motivating the sales team
• Ensuring exceptional customer service by coaching and training staff in effective customer interactions
• Supervising and supporting sales associates, including recruiting, training, and scheduling
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and work on team development
• Overseeing inventory levels, including ordering and restocking merchandise, conducting regular inventory audits
• Generating and analysing sales reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the store, such as opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining a safe working environment
• Collaborating with marketing teams to execute in-store promotions, displays, and marketing campaigns to boost sales
• Assisting in managing the store’s budget, which may include cost control, expense tracking, and financial reporting

• Competent with MS Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bright, positive and enthusiastic
• Experienced at consultative sales and delivering
