Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Wigan
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (plus commission and car allowance £500 per month)

About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager at our plant hire business, you will play a crucial role in our company’s growth and success. We are seeking a proactive, results-driven individual to build and maintain strong client relationships, generate leads, and contribute to our sales strategies. You will be an integral part of our dynamic team, representing our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing excellent customer support and addressing inquiries or issues.
Generate leads through various channels, including cold calls, emails, networking events, and referrals.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and plans.
Negotiate sales agreements and contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for all parties.
Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software.
Stay up to date with industry developments, product knowledge, and market trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the plant equipment or machinery industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results-driven and highly motivated to achieve sales targets.
Willingness to travel as required.
Valid driver’s license.
