We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Belfast as a full-time EO1. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

Administrator Pay Rate: £17.43 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

Hours of work: 

  • Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:-

Scheduling
• oversee scheduling of Learning & Development (L&D) events to meet NICS demand and provide value for money service to all customers
• adjusting scheduling as required& Collaborate with L&D category leads regarding product changes, course updates, new offerings & plot course frequency.
• Support scheduling decision making on information such as corporate priorities, & category lead input.
• Schedule with contracted suppliers to commission delivery of external training ensuring best value for money.

Event Team Management
• oversee LInKS administration of L&D classes.
• Oversee & staff management of work areas carried out by the team of EO2s and AOs.
• Management of Hybrid Rota for Event team management of Classroom courses.
• Support Event Management of Corporate Events.
• Communications mailboxes – ensure a professional service is provided through the management of the L&D mailbox.

Production of essential statistics reports for SMT
• complete and support monthly statistics using LInKS reports
• dashboard & performance reports provided to SMT
• Support the production of monthly charging reports.
• Secretariat support in the management & delivery of meetings.

The post-holder may be required to carry out other duties within the scope of the grade and within the limits of their skills and competencies in accordance with the needs of the programme.

Essential Experience & Qualifications required:

1. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading teams both within an office setting and in remote working environments, with a strong emphasis on delivering results. -Evidence of at least 2 years’ practical* experience of working with a team to set priorities and plans to contribute to the successful delivery of key business outcomes. (Managing a Quality Service)

2. They should also be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effectively engaging with colleagues and stakeholders across and beyond the organisation. -Evidence of at least 2 years’ practical* experience of working collaboratively and building supportive, responsive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve business objectives and goals.

* Practical experience is defined as actually having undertaken the work rather than having knowledge and understanding

An ITD/IPD/CIPD Certificate Level 3 or above in Learning and Development Practice or Event Management qualification considered by NICS HR L&D to be of an equivalent or higher standard.
