Job Responsibilities:

• You will have primary accountability for maximising sales, margin and profitability in this fast moving and diverse
• category
• You will lead a team building long term supplier relationships to deliver a successful product offer
• You will have ultimate responsibility for the implementation of the product strategy and ensuring that the business
• meets with customer needs
• You will monitor and review competitor information to ensure your product offering stays relevant in a changing
• market
• You will play a lead role in range reviews, supplier negotiations, promotions and pricing
• You will work with your cross-functional team to ensure we deliver great product availability and quality

The Person:

• You need will need to have experience of buying
• You will need FMCG experience
• Have developed an excellent understanding of the consumer and of the marketplace
• Have the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Have developed first rate strategic and analytical thinking skills
• A true team player underpinned with great interpersonal skills
• Have the ability build relationships and influence both internal and external stakeholders
