Blue Arrow are recruiting a Campus Porter to work at a prestigious University based in Manchester City Centre.

You will be working in the Furniture Recycling Store
There is no “restoration” of furniture, although minor repairs may be needed, so we are ideally looking for candidates should with some DIY skills.

The main tasks are taking furniture into the building/store after items have been collected from around the campus by our Campus Cleansing team.
You are responsible for ensuring that the furniture is assessed and made fit for re-use, dealing with staff, students and external organisations, and helping with deliveries of furniture across campus when staff have chosen items.
Strong customer service skills are required as you will be liaising with staff, students and visitors.

Ideally you will need a clean driving license as the role includes furniture deliveries around the campus.

20 hours per week – 8:30am – 12:30pm Monday – Friday, with a possible additional 5 hours (until 3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays).

£12.66 per hour

Ongoing work potentially leading to permanent.
