£12.21 per hour

22.5 hours a week post will possible additional shifts

Job Summary

The Post holder will carry out a range of activities within his / her designated area of car parking / security. They will carry out these services in an efficient and customer focused manner

Car Parking

• Support of car parking functions as required Periodic cleaning of car park

Security

• Responding to emergency and non-emergency calls Site checks Cash handling Escort duties Response to alarms Reporting incidents Patrolling activities

– Car Parking / Security Officers will carry such equipment which is required to enable the successful completion of their function.

Essential Criteria

Knowledge

• Knowledge of the role of a Car Parking / Security Officer Knowledge of Health & Safety issues relating to general services

Skills and Aptitudes

• Ability to adapt to different situations Ability to prioritise work Effective communication skills Ability to exercise tact Maintain confidentially Ability to use initiative Ability to work as part of a team
