Job Title: Caretaker

Post Status: Casual on Call

Location: Various community centers in the Ballymena area

Salary:£11.18 per hour

Hours of Work: Between 9:00 am – 10:00 pm, as needed, including evenings, weekends, and public/bank holidays, based on service requirements.

Transport/Mobility: A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle OR access to reliable transportation to fulfill job duties.

Main Purpose of the Job: To ensure the supervision and accessibility of community centers, respond to public requests, maintain high cleanliness standards, and ensure the building and its surroundings are well-maintained. Responsible for the accurate and timely handling of cash receipts, documentation, reports, and official returns.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 3 GCSEs, including English Language and Maths (grade C or above), or equivalent qualifications demonstrating literacy and numeracy.
• A minimum of six months’ experience in facility operation, cleaning, security duties, public interaction, and administrative tasks within a customer-focused environment.

Alternatively, consideration may be given to candidates with:

• One year of experience in the same key areas, even if they do not possess the required GCSE qualifications.
