Caretaker required to join our client in Ballymena

37 hours per week Monday – Saturday based on a 2 week rota

Week 1 :
Monday 3.00-10.00pm, Tuesday 3.00-10.00pm Wednesday Rest Day, Thursday 3.00-10.00pm, Friday 3.00-10.00pm, Saturday 8.00-5.00pm

Week 2 :
Monday 8.00-3.00pm, Tuesday 8.00-3.00pm, Wednesday 1.00-10.00pm, Thursday 8.00-3.00pm, Friday 8.00-3.00pm, Saturday Rest Day
3 months initially with possible extension

£12.85 per hour

Essential Criteria :
Have a minimum of 3 GCSEs to include English Language and Maths (Grace C or Above) or equivalent
Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific exampbles, a minimum of 6 months experience to include:
1. Operaton of facilities to include cleaning and security duties
2. Dealing with members of the public and queries
3. Experience of undertaking administrative duties within a customer focused environment

Must hold a full current driving licence

Main purpose of the role:

The caretaker will be responsible to the Showgrounds Duty Officer and will assist the Duty Officer in the running of the Showgrounds Complex and outdoor playing fields. Liaise with all users of the grounds in a manner consistent with the Council’s policy to provide a high quality, efficient, customer oriented service.

Must be responsible for the opening and closing of the building

Responsible for the opening and closing of the building, ensuring that the general security requirements of the Showgrounds are adhered to

Provide cover at reception desk during daily lunch breaks, answering telephones, answering queries, and receiving booking forms
