We are currently recruiting a Caretaker to join our team in Larne on a temporary ongoing basis

• £12.18 per hour
• This position is mainly based in Sandy Bay, however may be required to cover other locations in Larne
• 20 hour per week, between 8am – 10.30pm as and when required and can include weekends
• Immediate start

Job duties :

1. Provide cover at community centres throughout Larne
2. Be the primary key holder for designated community centre(s) as and when required.
3. Opening and closing the premises
4. Responsible for the security of the Centre
5. Be present on site and provide cover for bookings/activities
6. Ensure that all areas of the Centre are kept in a secure clean and hygienic condition and complete weekly cleaning schedules including the removal of litter or graffiti from the outside of the building on a weekly basis.7. Other caretaking duties as required

Essential Criteria : The successful candidate must have

• Minimum of Entry Level Essential Skills qualifications in Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy
• Be able to demonstrate, by providing personal and specific examples, a minimum of six months’
  experience in the following key areas:
  The operation of facilities to include cleaning and security duties.
  Dealing with members of the public and queries.
  Experience of undertaking administrative duties within a customer focused environment.
