Location: Ballymena, (occasionally Larne & Carrickfergus)

Status: Casual | Hours: As and when required (including evenings, weekends & public holidays)

Pay:

• £30.00 per 1-hour session (Class Instructor)
• £27.50 per 45-minute session (Class Instructor)
• £20.00 per 1-hour session (Centre Classes)

About the Role

Our client is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Group Exercise Coaches to deliver high-quality fitness classes across its leisure centres. You’ll support the Duty Officer in running structured, inclusive, and safe exercise programmes that promote health, wellbeing, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver group exercise sessions in line with national guidelines.
• Ensure participant safety and progression.
• Conduct equipment safety checks and report issues.
• Maintain attendance records and participant progress.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
• Promote inclusive access and community links.

Essential Criteria

• A current coaching/teaching qualification in a group exercise discipline (e.g. Spin, Aerobics, Zumba, Pilates, Circuits, etc.).
• Sufficient fitness level to perform coaching duties.

Desirable Criteria

• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in a commercial leisure environment.
