Catering Assistant – Newry (Full-Time)
The Recruitment Co is currently recruiting Catering Assistants for a temporary ongoing role based in Newry. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for full-time hours with competitive rates of pay and an immediate start available.
Pay Rates
- £12.71 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- £17.92 per hour (Saturday)
- £23.26 per hour (Sunday)
Working Hours
32.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
- Shifts: 7:20am – 2:30pm and 1:00pm – 8:00pm
37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
- Shifts: 7:30am – 2:30pm and 10:30am – 6:30pm
32.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday only
- Shifts: 7:30am – 2:30pm and 10:00am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with food preparation and meal service
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Cleaning and tidying kitchen and dining areas
- Clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain presentable
- Loading and unloading dishwashers
- Washing utensils, crockery and kitchen equipment
- Supporting kitchen staff with general duties as required
Requirements
- Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts as required
