The Recruitment Co are looking for Class 1 Drivers to work for our client, One of the leading Road Transport companies in and around the Heathrow area.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will need to have:

  • Minimum 12 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
  • Must have worked as a driver for at least 60 days in the preceding 6 consecutive months.
  • Have a valid CPC and Digi Tacho
  • No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)
  • Must have the correct PPE – HI Vis and Safety Boots

Class 1 Driver Details:

  • Salary: £17.26 – £19.61
  • Working hours: Various shifts (Days or Nights) across seven days a week
  • Location: Heathrow
  • Duration: Block Bookings

Role of a Class 1 Driver

  • Complete trunking runs a shift; trailer swapping will be involved
  • Complete airport shifts waiting on airport for shipments to deliver to warehouses around Heathrow airport.
  • Complete vehicle checks
  • Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
