The Recruitment Co are looking for Class 1 Drivers to work for our client, One of the leading Road Transport companies in and around the Heathrow area.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will need to have:
- Minimum 12 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
- Must have worked as a driver for at least 60 days in the preceding 6 consecutive months.
- Have a valid CPC and Digi Tacho
- No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)
- Must have the correct PPE – HI Vis and Safety Boots
Class 1 Driver Details:
- Salary: £17.26 – £19.61
- Working hours: Various shifts (Days or Nights) across seven days a week
- Location: Heathrow
- Duration: Block Bookings
Role of a Class 1 Driver
- Complete trunking runs a shift; trailer swapping will be involved
- Complete airport shifts waiting on airport for shipments to deliver to warehouses around Heathrow airport.
- Complete vehicle checks
- Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
