My client, an industry leader in supply chain logistics, is looking to recruit Class 1 drivers for Nights for their extremely busy depot in Paisley.
Working: 7pm to 5am OR 8pm to 6am
The role:
The main duties of the role are the collection, moving and delivering of cargo throughout the UK and around the Heathrow area.

Duties

• Drive vehicle from depot to loading/unloading point throughout the UK
• Assist with loading/unloading and ensure that load is evenly distributed and safely secured
• Drive vehicle to destination and working within your schedule
• Maintain records of journey times, mileage and hours worked.
• Vehicle checks daily before and report and issues or faults

Requirements

• A full UK C+E licence
• ADR desirable but not essential
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK mainland (including Heathrow area) (Desirable)
• 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications in the last 5 years including disqualification codes – IN CD, DD, DR, and BA
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
• Good working knowledge of manual loading/unloading and securing freight

Salary: £36,000
