Job Title: Cleaner (part time)

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: Part time. Monday – Friday, 20 hrs a week , 4 hrs per day, can be 6am-10am, 6:30am- 10:30am , Or 7am-11am, flexible within these hours

Here at the Recruitment o, we are recruiting a Cleaner to work for a company on a temp to perm basis.

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining and continually improving the tidiness, hygiene and cleanliness of the premises and facilities, to an agreed standard in the safest and most efficient manner. The individual will thereby support the continued effective operation of the businesses, ensuring both clean and hygienic working conditions at all times and a positive impression of the business for any visitors.

Main job roles:

• Clean, stock and supply all designated facility areas which include but are not restricted to kitchen areas, office areas, toilets, showers and changing rooms (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, disinfecting, mopping and cleaning as required)
• To aim to improve the quality of the working areas of other employees by creating a clean and hygienic environment.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as required
• Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles
• To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments
• To fill in completed task sheet.
• To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels)
• To monitor levels of cleaning materials, toiletries and cleaning supplies and request replacement stock in agreed manner
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Immediately report to Line Manager any health and / or safety concerns, dangerous occurrences or accidents.
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Required Experience

• Previous cleaning experience is essential in a business setting
