Our Public Sector Client currently seeks a Full -Time Temporary ongoing Band 3 Contracts Administrator at their site in Dundonald
This is an ongoing temporary position, starting asap
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge in Microsoft office especially Excel
Hours of work Mon-Fri 9.00am- 5.00pm (37.0hours per week)
Rate of pay £11.11 per hour
Duties include:
1.Arrange and provide administrative support for meetings, including minute /
action note taking, organising venues, issuing and follow up of relevant
documentation.
- Follow up of actions from contract review meetings relevant to the department.
- Provide general administrative/secretarial support within the department e.g.
word processing, spreadsheets, database use, photocopying, filing etc.
- Organise and maintain relevant manual and electronic diary/schedule and
arrange appointments and meetings.
- Establish and maintain filing systems to meet the administrative needs of the
department
- Maintain accurate records for the department re: Contracts / minutes / Provider
Insurance etc.
- Process and distribute all incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail as required.
- Deal with incoming telephone calls and handle queries as appropriate and act as
a reference point for all internal and external enquiries relating to the department,
ensuring necessary communication is maintained with relevant senior
department staff
- Operate and manage a brought forward system for minutes / monthly contract
monitoring and contracts
Essential Criteria:
- 4 GCSE’s Grades A-C to include English Language (or equivalent
- Qualification) plus 1year’s Secretarial /admin /clerical experience.
OR
- NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent qualification) plus 1 year’s secretarial /admin /clerical experience.
OR
- 2 year’s secretarial /admin /clerical experience.
- RSA/OCR Stage II Text Processing Part I and Part II (or equivalent/ above qualification).
OR
- 1 year’s word processing experience, to include typing and formatting of reports and letters.
- Experience in using Microsoft packages to include WORD, EXCEL, and
OUTLOOK..
