Pay Rates

• Monday – Friday: £12.31 per hour
• Saturday: £16.62 per hour
• Sunday: £20.80 per hour

Working Pattern

• 30 hours per week
• 7.5-hour shifts
• 4 days out of 7
• Rota-based, including weekends when required
• Candidates must be willing to work ALL of the following shift patterns:
  • 6:30am – 2:30pm
  • 9:15am – 5:15pm
  • 10:30am – 6:30pm

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join a busy catering team in Newry. The successful candidate will support the preparation and delivery of high‑quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong cooking experience who is available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals to set menus and dietary requirements
• Ensuring safe food handling, storage, and hygiene practices
• Assisting with menu planning and portion control
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen area
• Working as part of a catering team to meet deadlines
• Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Requirements

• Previous cooking experience is essential
• Ability to work across all required shift patterns
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
