Our client is a busy multi-disciplinary practice based in Manchester City Centre who are seeking an experienced costs drafts-person to join their busy and growing team.

I am seeking a skilled Costs Drafts-person/Costs Lawyer to join my clients established team in Manchester. The role involves management of a caseload to include drafting schedules and bills of costs, negotiating settlement, dealing with costs budgets and preparation for cost hearings.

With this being said, I am looking for the following experience:

Qualifications: Qualified solicitor, costs lawyer, CILEx or experienced non-qualified
candidates considered.

Drafting Expertise: Essential to the role is a strong proficiency in drafting cost schedules,
bills of costs, costs budgets, and all necessary supplementary documentation required for
detailed assessment hearings.

Key Experience:

• Preparing Costs Budgets
• Case Load Management
• Housing Disrepair Experience
• Drafting Bills of costs for assessment by the court
• Preparing Costs Estimates and Schedules
• Drafting Points of Dispute and Replies to Points of Dispute
• Negotiating with relevant parties

Work Location:

The successful candidate will be required to be situated in the City Centre Manchester office
5 days a week
