The Recruitment Co are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance / Warehouse Operative to join our clients team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a counterbalance forklift, as well as general warehouse duties. Van driving is also required, including collections and deliveries.

Pay £13 per hour

3 shift patterns – worked between Monday and Friday

• Early 6am – 3pm
• Day 7am 7pm
• Back 12am – 9pm

Every 3rd Sat 6am – 11am

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move and stack pallets
• Van driving – collecting and deliveries
• Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles
• Accurately picking and packing orders using handheld scanners
• Performing regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Driving licence (Essential)
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
• Attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Flexibility to work overtime if required

Must have a 5 year unbroken reference history as this is required for an Airside Security pass.
