We are looking for an experienced Credit controller to join our client’s team. This will be an exciting opportunity for someone in a senior position to have autonomy in their role and make a difference within the business.

Credit controller Salary: Up to £30,000

Credit controller hours: 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday ( flexible working available)

Credit Controller roles and responsibilities:

  • Chase overdue monies on all ledgers as required.
  • Post daily receipts to the ledger.
  • Manage the credit loss insurance process – both internally and with their
    insurance company.
  • Manage the invoice financing factoring arrangement – both internally and with the bank.
  • Raise credit notes once authorised at Director level.
  • Contact all customers by telephone to chase overdues.
  • Escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Liaise with all departments ,as required, where issues may arise.
  • Credit check and set up new customers on the system once authorised.
  • Send out monthly statements to all customers.
  • Send invoices out daily by email.
  • Resolve queries both internally and externally within a timely fashion.
  • Manually raise weekly and monthly consolidated invoices.

The Ideal Credit controller:

  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • An excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong people skills – able to build rapport and professional relationships with customers.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Multi-tasking and organisational skills.
