Job Title:Credit Controller
Location:Bolton (Parklands)
Full Time Monday to Friday, Office based – 2 shift between 8:00 am till 5:30pm
Salary Competitive Salary (DOE)
Work Level:6 months Temporary to Permanent

Role Summary
Manage an allocated portfolio of customer accounts with regard to all aspects of credit management. A continuous drive to reduce overdue balances and ensure all customers trade within their agreed credit limits. Apply a high level of due diligence in the onboarding of new customers. Provide management with regular status updates and ensure queries are escalated and resolved within agreed SLA’s.
Job Function
- Management of client debt balances and the chasing of outstanding accounts
- Continued review of customers against credit limits
- Due diligence when onboarding new customers
- Production of management information (status/aged debtors reporting)
- KPI reporting
- Liaise with internal and external bodies to resolve queries
- Issuing monthly customer statements
- Resolving queries on accounts and maintaining appropriate records
- Account and statement reconciliations
- Monitor payments received and balances due
- Maintain sales ledger records in and off system
- General administration and ad hoc duties as required
Expectation
- Experience in fast paced sales ledger environment
- Experience in financial accounting software, such as Microsoft Dynamics (AX) is preferred but not essential
- Strong Excel/Microsoft office skills
- Be able to prioritise workload
- Willingness to learn and proactively seek resolutions
- A good team player as well as having the ability to work independently
- Able to work under pressure
- Well organised and be able to work to deadlines displaying speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
