Position: Customer Rights Advisor (AO)
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Hybrid Working – Monday and Tuesday in office, Wed Thursday and Friday Working from Home.
Duration: up to 29th March 2026 (with possibility of extension)

Job Duties:
The post holder will act as the first point of contact for customers of the Northern Ireland Consumer Helpline – Consumerline. They will be a member of a contact centre team, which is responsible for the provision of advice to the public on consumer related matters. This post requires clear communication skills.
Purpose of Role:
The Trading Standards Service delivers a front-line public protection function for the benefit of consumers, businesses, and the Northern Ireland (NI) economy,providing support and guidance for NI’s businesses (particularly small businesses).
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSE’s A*-C including Maths and English (must be able to show evidence)
Desired Experience:
• Good organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Have good knowledge of using software packages e.g., Microsoft office
*The successful applicant will be required to complete an Access NI during registration*
