Customer Service Advisor – Email & Telephone

Based in Leeds, LS3

Offering £10.50 per hour, paid weekly – every Friday!

Full time role, temporary on-going contract

Start Date: 13th February 2023

Our client is a market leading global company who specialise in credit referencing and economic insights which allow them to support millions of people over 30+ countries. They are looking for customer focused individuals to join their existing Customer Service department based in Leeds. This will be a temporary on-going contract which the view to go permanent.

Location: Leeds, LS3

Working Hours:

  • Full time contract working Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm, no weekends or evenings.
  • Ideal preference from the client would be 8:30am-4:30pm

The Role:

You will be working as Customer Service Advisor within the financial industry dealing with email and phone based queries:

  • Your primary role will be to provide a first class customer service through inbound email and call based queries from customers both business and consumer.
  • Following guidance, updating the clients systems and handling customer data sensitively will be key aspects of your role to support the delivery of world-class customer service.
  • You will help and support customers by providing in depth, accurate and insightful advice and guidance with confidence.
  • Gaining a full understanding of the customer’s situation, wants and needs to allow us to provide them with the best possible resolution.
  • You will seek to resolve customer queries at the first point of contact where possible and use your brilliant communication skills to handle sometimes complex but rewarding conversations.

The Person:

We are looking for:

  • Previous customer service experience ideally within a contact centre environment but background and experience are not as important as your energy, enthusiasm, and commitment.
  • A genuine passion for helping people
  • A desire to go above and beyond for our customers
  • An ability to build rapport through various mediums and identify products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Strong, clear and effective communication skills so you exceed customer expectations
  • A team player who is resilient, proactive and self-confident
  • Empathetic nature with the ability to put yourself in the customer’s shoes
  • Flexibility and ability to be adaptable, open to change and new ways of working, with a positive can-do attitude
  • PC literate and capable of operating new systems with confidence and accuracy


  • Offering £10.50 per hour depending on experience, this will be paid weekly – every Friday!
