Digital Systems Manager – Lisburn.

£24.41 per hour | Lisburn HQ | 36.25 hrs per week | Up to 6‑month contract (possible extension)

We are recruiting an experienced Digital Systems Manager to join the IT Department at Lisburn HQ. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of Line of Business (LOB) IT systems including Finance, HR, Fleet, Prevention & Protection, Operational and Technical applications. You will deliver specialist technical expertise, system improvements, and high‑quality support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, support and develop a broad range of IT Line of Business systems.
• Lead on system upgrades, change management, releases and project delivery.
• Oversee system incidents, service requests and supplier engagement, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Maintain system infrastructure including hardware, software, licensing and security.
• Analyse user requirements, design and support complex IT solutions.
• Deliver staff training and ensure documentation and processes remain up to date.
• Support strategic planning, business cases, tenders and long-term IT planning.
• Drive continuous system improvement and recommend new technologies.
• Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to IT staff.
• Ensure compliance with governance, data protection and organisational policies.
• Act as primary contact in the absence of the Head of IT and support Business Continuity/DR.

  Essential Criteria

Option 1:

• Degree in ICT, Computing, Systems Development (or similar)
• 2+ years’ experience in a Systems Manager role

OR

Option 2:

• HND in ICT, Computing, Systems Development (or similar)
• 3+ years’ experience in a Systems Manager role

OR

Option 3:

• 5+ years’ experience working as a Systems Manager (experience-based route)
